Hello! My name is Andrew Simpson, and I am The Lucky Sporran Tour Guide. I am fully qualified Blue Badge Tourist Guide having qualified in April 2020.  I am here to help you plan and enjoy your wonderful trip to Scotland.

I was born in St Andrews and spent my childhood growing up close to the capital city, Edinburgh. I now live in the Kingdom of Fife, on the beautiful Firth of Forth. I have always loved travelling and have spent my career flying all over the world as long haul cabin crew (flight attendant).

Scotland is a country full of amazing history, stunning mountains, deep lochs, historic castles, white sandy beaches, architecturally beautiful cities and some of the best hospitality the world has to offer! I believe in showing people the very best of Scotland and I want to share my knowledge and passion with all my clients. 

The name,'Lucky Sporran' is inspired by my childhood: at family weddings my Sporran (the small purse worn in front of the kilt) would mysteriously fill up with money, I called it my lucky Sporran! While I may not be able to find magic money in my Sporran anymore, I can arrange a magical and unique tour for you.
