Anne Gascoigne

I have lived in Orkney for 16 years and still not explored all the islands have to offer! Not a very good advert for an 'expert' Guide - but it just goes to show you, how much we really have here.
My tours reflect my interest in the Natural History of Orkney Mainland and Isles. I am an occasional birdwatcher, but prefer wildflowers and lichens - small things which remain still whilst you are looking at or photographing them. I am interested in seas and landscape, farming and the weather, and appreciate the ever-changing Orkney light - and darkness. My tours are relaxed and informal, and offer plenty opportunity to just look, admire and to daydream #slowadventuring
