Thank-you for showing interest in hiring me as your guide. I was born in the North of Scotland. When 18 I moved to England and lived there, with periods in the Netherlands and Hong Kong, until returning to Scotland in 1998. I have lived in our capital city, Edinburgh, since then. Having spent my career as a lawyer guiding people through various legal processes, I now have far more fun guiding clients around my wonderful country, showing them something of its stunning scenery and telling them as much (or as little!) as they wish to know about its history and current position in the world. Although I currently only guide in English: Ich spreche ein bisschen Deutsch; Je parle un peu de Francais; Ik spreek een beetje Nederlands. I would be delighted to discuss your holiday/tour ideas with you, and then get to enjoy your company as your guide when you visit Scotland.
