About Me

Your professionalism, courtesy and knowledge of Scotland were truly appreciated” Sincerely, Rick and Sue

Hello and welcome to Scotland!

I live near Stirling and specialise in guided tours of Central Scotland but my STGA Blue Badge means that I am qualified to guide the whole of the country. For the last ten years, I've guided all ages of many nationalities - but only in English - on coach and walking tours, visiting wonderful countryside, viewpoints, castles, cities and villages.

History and the landscape are important to me but my many interests in modern Scotland range from sport and music to good pubs and restaurants and movie locations

“We have enjoyed every minute of this tour – we will never forget it. All your information and jokes and songs were much appreciated” Beth and John

As well as guiding, I have worked a lot as a Tour Manager and understand the practical needs of visitors and tour companies. I have also been a Director of the STGA.

"David, you know astounding history which we loved hearing. A special thanks for pointing out the way to Wally’s Mum’s home. Much appreciated” Debbie
