A true Scot, born and bred in Edinburgh, I am passionate about my country and my role as ambassador and guide. I would be delighted to welcome you to Scotland and to accompany you on your journey through our ancient land.

A linguist and enthusiastic traveler, I have lived and worked as an English teacher in Italy, Spain and South America. My travels continued when I returned to Scotland, heading off into the Highlands and Islands and being truly inspired by the landscapes and people that I met on my journeys. Through my studies with the Scottish Tourist Guides Association at Edinburgh University, I qualified as a Professional Blue Badge Guide and have since been privileged to accompany and guide visitors on their travels around my native country.

I specialise in offering private driver guided tours with my own spacious and very comfortable Mercedes or Volkswagen vehicle that accommodates up to 7 passengers. From my wealth of experience, I am able to offer a variety of itineraries ranging from classic trips around Scotland’s most famous sites, to tailor made personalised tours to more remote off the beaten track locations.

Whether leading walking tours through our historic cities or through the countryside, driver guiding tours into the Highlands and Islands, walking in the footsteps of ancestors, I am very flexible and sensitive to my guests’ wishes and strive always to create a very unique and personalised experience.

Let me share with you my passion, experience and knowledge of Scotland, its culture, history, traditions and folklore, let me show you my Scotland ! I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our beautiful country.
