I have been a Scottish Blue Badge Guide since 1995
and have delighted in introducing our visitors from
abroad to our beautiful Scotland.
I have lived in the Scottish Borders, south of Edinburgh,
for many years, having married into a farming family and
have learnt so much about agriculture, sheep rearing,
cattle breeding and the arable sector.
This combined with a career in teaching and an interest
in art, architecture, history and modern languages,
all studied at Edinburgh University, has enabled me
to bring all these strands of knowledge together in my
guiding work, which I so enjoy.
My aim as a guide is to share my love of Scotland with
all our visitors.
