Shetland Islands The High-lands of the Islands. I started working in the Fishing Industry and did a Four year Apprentiship in Marine Craft Engineering. I worked with a local firm repairing Fishing Boats and Oil Boats. This was when Sullom Voe Oil terminal was at its best production in the 80s. I moved to Norway in 1998. I lived in Norway for 11 years and everyone wanted to know about Shetland. You can take a man from Shetland but you cant take the Shetland from him. Shetland draws you in. I am a certified guide i can give you Shetlands history, heritage, culture and its fokelore. As an experienced guide now 4 years in. I have had many excellent tours and met wonderful people from all over the world.
