Making my home in Lewis since 1978, I have delighted in sharing the wonderful landscape, its ancient historical sites and its rich culture with many visitors from around the world. Retiring from teaching in 2010, I have studied its history in greater depth and trained as a tour guide, with more than10 years professional experience. I am willing to do extended tours through the Hebrides, from Barra, North and South Uist as well as Lewis and Harris. However, as a Green Badge guide I am unable to do tours of the Scottish Mainland. I welcome opportunities to give visitors an insight into the special place where I live and share experiences with them and am able to do tours in French as well as English.
