I have worked part time for many years as a guide, but I have always had other employment, working mainly in government and in adult education. This has meant that in recent years I have been largely restricted to guiding in the Edinburgh area. While I do not claim any particular expertise, I do enjoy visiting our galleries and museums and getting to exhibitions. I take the opportunity of going to some of the many talks and walks that are available, exploring and learning more about our history and surroundings.
