Before you know it, you’re hooked on her breath-taking scenery, rich history, culture, and heritage and you never want to leave again.
 
This is what happened to me. I only wanted to stay for two years, but life had different plans.  I got here in 1992 and I never left …
 
There is only one rule in my book: TAKE YOUR TIME. 
Give yourself and the fabulous places you find in Scotland the time they deserve. DON’T make it a Whistlestop holiday and try and see it all in one go. 
 
Scotland will give you all that you are looking for.
 
I have been guiding visitors in Scotland since 2018 and became a bilingual professional Blue Badge tourist guide (the highest guiding qualification in Scotland to date) in 2020.
 
Being your private guide and showing you the best that Scotland has to offer is my vocation. Since I arrived in Scotland from Germany all those years ago, I made the region of Lanarkshire in the central belt of Scotland my home. I live here together with my husband, son, and our two house cats. 
 
This central location puts me in easy reach to Glasgow (approx. 20 mins drive), as well as Stirling (approx. 50 mins drive) and Edinburgh (approx. 80 mins drive). Day trips to the Scottish Borders, as well as the coastal region of Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway, are equally within easy reach.
 
Through my company DEVINE TOURS OF SCOTLAND, I offer a variety of services, that reach from itinerary planning/auditing to city walking tours to half-day and full-day tours, as well as extended tours.

ACHTUNG - man verliebt sich schnell in Schottland! 
 
Bevor man sich versieht, ist man süchtig nach der atemberaubenden Landschaft, der reichen Geschichte, und dem Kulturerbe und möchte nie wieder weg.
 
Genau das ist mir passiert!
Ich wollte eigentlich nur zwei Jahre bleiben, aber das Leben hatte andere Pläne mit mir. Ich bin seit 1992 hier und nie wieder weggegangen ...
 
Für mich gibt es nur eine Regel: NEHMEN SIE SICH ZEIT. 
Zeit für sich und die fabelhaften Orte, die Sie in Schottland antreffen. Sie haben es verdient Schottland hautnah kennenzulernen. Machen Sie keinen Blitzurlaub mit dem Ziel, alles auf einen Schlag zu sehen. 
 
Sie werden von Schottland begeistert sein.
 
Seit 2018 begleite ich nun schon Urlauber in Schottland als Reiseführerin und bin seit 2020 zertifizierte Blue Badge Reiseführerin für das Land (die bisher höchste Qualifikation für Reiseführer in Schottland).
 
Mein Beruf ist meine Leidenschaft! Ich zeige Ihnen gerne das beste, was Schottland zu bieten hat.
