As a born and bred Scots girl, nothing gives me more pleasure than sharing my country with our guests. From our blood-thirsty past through the Enlightenment to our modern, vibrant society I'm keen to explain and entertain. We have a superb and rich culture, fine food, whisky, literature, dance, music, bagpipes and (yes it has to be said ) haggis. Is there anything not to like?

Having been brought up on a farm in the N.E. of Scotland I have a deep love and knowledge of our diverse countryside. I love to share that knowledge with our visitors. Farming could be said to be my specialist subject, but as a Scots "girl o pairts", every part of our land, past and present, excites me, and that is what I aim to share with our guests.

There is no part of this wonderful country I'm not enthusiastic to share with anyone who has come to visit.
