About Me

I began my Blue Badge training in 2002 after a spell working part time on the Open Top Tour buses in Edinburgh. I thought I knew a lot about Old Edinburgh but soon realised I was only scraping the surface. There was a much bigger story to tell, and I enjoyed telling it!

The more I learned, the more I wanted to learn, so I applied for the Blue Badge Training Course. Two years flew by and my head was bursting with knowledge. I passed my exams, acquired my Blue Badge, and began my new career. I now work with a variety of visitors, leisure, corporate and incentive clients, special interest groups. No two days are ever the same. I travel throughout Scotland and never tire of the wonderful scenery and the interesting people I meet. See photo with US Travel Writer, Rick Steves. I am also involved with the training of new Tourist Guides. This is a very rewarding and satisfying experience too. I have made so many new friends from all over the world. I can’t imagine ever stopping.
