Languages:

With a multinational heritage and background in business and the financial and other sectors, I have wide and varied interests and "insatiable" curiosity.

Part German, Italian, Spanish, English and born and brought up in Scotland, I took off mainly to Germany, to study, and then Latin America, to work, coming home "for a time" after many years abroad (also spent time in Australia, the Caribbean and the Canaries). Perhaps, even to my own surprise, I am still here - love not being the least of my reasons...

I always showed my business clients around - being a craft, souvenir and giftware wholesaler allowed me to indulge my love of travel and discovery. What better than to do it full-time when I decided to change direction?

Coupled with my fluent languages (worked also as a translator and consecutive interpreter) - I speak German, Spanish and Italian, and after a season as a tour guide when I was a student, what else was a natural next step?

I am happy to take you to the better-known and lesser-known jewels in our casket of delights – my clients over the last 25 years “highlight and delight” (their words) in my “unflagging enthusiasm and energy”, which lead them to ask me to take them elsewhere in the UK as well.

Come and see for yourself! and learn the meaning of Ceud Mile Failte!
