Ceud Mille Failte is Gaelic for 100,000 welcomes. Welcome to my page.

Is this the year you are planning to visit Scotland? If so, then welcome to Scotland. It is a wonderful country; our scenery, our castles, our music, our long summer nights and our scones.

Of course you can do it all with a guide book, but how much better with a guide? A local who can explain, interpret, develop and adapt to meet YOUR interests. As a genealogist, as well as a guide, I particularly enjoy taking visitors to where their ancestors had lived, so that they can see and feel for themselves the world of their forebears.
We Scots have spanned the world and it is very special to take our visitors 'home.'

I have been guiding my native country since 2006. It is both a pleasure and a privilege to introduce my country to visitors, show it off, tell its story and ensure that the best souvenirs you take home are your memories.

Whether you are new to Scotland, or the descendant of someone who feels to be ‘coming home’, I hope to say Ceud Mille Failte to you in person some day soon.
