About Me

I am a native Italian speaker, passionate about Scotland.
After attending United World College of the Atlantic (Wales) in 1976-78, I went back to my home town Venice, where I qualified as a professional tourist guide in 1979. I then attended the Ca’Foscari University, where I graduated in German Language and Literature, then attended the Master ITALS at the same university, and qualified as a teacher of Italian as a foreign Language.
In 2006 I attended the STGA Blue Badge Course, and qualified in 2008 as a professional tourist guide, speaking Italian, German and English.
In more recent times I have being training to become an assessor for STGA, and attended the FEG course Sharing Best Practice in October 2017, to qualify as trainer of future tourist guides.
