I would be delighted to be your guide in Scotland, and bring this wonderful country alive for you. I am based in the inspiring city of Edinburgh and I love the outdoors and guiding through the beautiful Scottish countryside. I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm and the knowledge built up over 40 years with visitors from throughout the world. Each tour is informative, tailor-made, enjoyable and hopefully fun! I guide groups from across Europe and from all over the world, including many groups of French schoolchildren and German students. Many of my tours are of Edinburgh, by coach or walking or by chauffeur car. Popular day tours from Edinburgh include St Andrews, the Border abbeys and houses, Stirling, and Glasgow.
I have been privileged to guide throughout Scotland on the Belmond Royal Scotsman train for 25 years, and for other trains in the Orient Express group. I have been fortunate to guide aboard the small luxury cruise ship, the Hebridean Princess, around the beautiful islands of Scotland for 20 years.
I aim to give a warm welcome to visitors anywhere in Scotland, and to tailor my tours to their own special interests.
