Mary Birch

Languages:

Hello, I was born in Ireland, educated in England and have made Scotland my home for the last 30 years.
I enjoyed a successful career in education and then spent a number of years travelling in North America.

On my return I settled in Edinburgh but was keen to extend my knowledge, understanding and appreciation of my beautiful adopted homeland. Taking the STGA Blue Badge course gave me a fantastic opportunity to travel all over Scotland and get to know its regional history and customs.

I love Scotland - its history, its culture - its music both traditional and contemporary. I have a broad variety of interests which I want to share with you.
