Having retired from over 30 years of teaching I moved to the islands where my father was born. My family were frequent visitors to Orkney for holidays over the decades. I wanted to introduce other visitors to the Orkney which had woven its spell around me. Accordingly I trained as a Green Badge Guide over the winter and spring of 2014/15 and here I am.
