My name is Sarah and I am a professional Blue Badge guide, member of the Scottish Tourist Guides Association and licensed to guide all over Scotland.
My main passions are history, folklore, storytelling and human beings, that is why in 2013 I decided to become a guide.
My fondness for Scotland started when I was just 6 years old, when I fell in love with "The Fairy Flag" a traditional tale about a magical protective flag donated to the clan MacLeod by the fairies and guarded at Dunvegan Castle on the enchanting Isle of Skye (hence the name of my business "Fairy Flag Tours").
Since then my love story with Scotland, its traditions and breathtaking landscapes grew, evolving into my fulfilling job which combines my my passion for this country, performing arts and people.
I believe that delivering tours means also to have a good time and my enjoyment is infectious! Being empathetic is a fundamental skill when working with people, therefore my tours are tailored according to customers’ needs.
I love meeting people from all over the world, and I make it my mission to provide memorable tours and experiences for my clients.
When I’m not guiding, I spend time researching and exploring to help keep my tours fresh, interesting and relevant.
