I qualified in 2010 as Blue Badge Guide having previously pursued a career in teaching and also worked as a volunteer counsellor. I live near St. Andrews in Fife - a beautiful part of Scotland with farming communities and fishing villages. I am very much a 'people person' and enjoy meeting clients from many different parts of the world. In my time as a driver guide, many of my clients have been Americans who have been very generous in their comments - e.g. " I can't imagine a better guide for our group - you have been patient, incredibly informative and perhaps most important of all, you have kept a great sense of humor." ((Dave-California) Living near St. Andrews I also do many walking tours of this historic place. Many of my clientele are golfers eager to learn more about 'The Home of Golf'. I also offer specialised day tours from St. Andrews e.g. East Neuk, Falkland Palace, Glamis Castle, Scone Palace and Dundee. This area has wonderful scenery and I really enjoy being able to show it to visitors and telling them something about our history, landscape and culture while also finding good places to showcase Scottish food and hospitality.
