I was born in Ayrshire, raised in St Andrews and studied in Aberdeen, so my roots are Scottish! Work and study has allowed me to experience life in Spain and the Netherlands before I returned to live in Edinburgh about 30 years ago. I worked in tourism for 11 years firstly for the Scottish Tourist Board, based in Edinburgh and then for the British Tourist Authority in Amsterdam where I promoted the UK with a special interest in Scotland! I personally love travelling and experiencing other cultures. I bring that enthusiasm to showing off my own culture and country to visitors. Scotland has a strong identity and however short or long your visit may be I will help you get the most out of your time here.

I am particularly interested in coach and walking tours of Edinburgh, its Old and New Towns, both Unesco World Heritage sites. I can advise on routes and coffee/shopping stops!

I enjoy doing day tours from Edinburgh to Stirling and the Trossachs, Highland Perthshire, the Borders and as a native of St Andrews I am happy to do day tours there to explore the worlds of golf, University (including Kate and Wills!) and the early pilgrim tourists who made their way to the stunning old Cathedral.
