About Me

Hello and Welcome !

After a varied career in the nursing profession both at home in Scotland and abroad, I decided to expand my knowledge of our history and culture into something more than a longheld interest.

Training as a Blue Badge Guide with the Scottish Tourist Guides Association through the University of Edinburgh added hugely to my familiarity not only with my home town of Edinburgh but all other areas of this beautiful country.

Ceilidh dancing and swimming are my favourite ways of relaxing and keeping fit for all those long walking tours. As an actor with a local theatre group, I can participate in and indulge my passion for Scottish plays.

Whether your interest is in the history within the nooks and crannies of Edinburgh`s Old Town, the wild highland landscape, the old clan strongholds and castles, monsters in lochs or the many equally captivating locations you simply have not yet heard of - let this true native of Scotland take you there and show you why we call ourselves proud Scots.

I hope one day to be able to say to you personally -

                      Failte gu Alba !
                Welcome to Scotland !
