About Me

After many years teaching French and German at secondary school level, I decided to find another way to really use these languages. Having dipped a toe into tourist guiding in the past, I took the opportunity to take the STGA's training course, and found the job I'd truly been looking for.

It is an enormous pleasure to show my country to visitors from furth of these shores, particularly from francophone and germanophone countries. I thoroughly enjoy the interaction with our visitors, and I hope I help them to share my enthusiasm for my country.

I derive real pleasure from Scottish music and dance, and I can offer a presentation on these; as a qualified teacher of Scottish Country Dancing, I can teach a session on Ceilidh Dancing and/or SCD.
