About Me

Having spent time Driving and Conducting Coach/Minibus Tours, I wanted to bring my 'Green' and Cycling interests into Guiding. Something I hope visitors to our beautiful and poetic land may share.

Last year, I purchased an E - Bike as I'm not getting any younger - and my poor knees! What a revelation this has been. I've covered 1,300 miles/ 1,800km in 7 months now. As such, I fully appreciate that not every Cyclist is a Chris Hoy in waiting. If you are mega fit and love lycra, then great, just don't overtake me on a typical windy day here in Orkney; you may miss vital stories about the landscape you are now part of. And yes, on a Bicycle you will part of the Orcadian landscape, in the open, immersed in her wonderful mysteries. My Tours can be tailored to your wishes, on a Bicycle you can explore many 'off the map' places: a gentle ride around scenic locations: visits to Orkney's many Historic Sites: places to rest and take in the beautiful and wild Land and Seascapes, all designed to suit your abilities and your time.

You will take away many memories, but leave only footprints and new friends (well okay - maybe a few tyre tracks too).

See you soon.
