Going to school in Linlithgow, birth place of Mary Queen of Scots, lead to an inevitable interest in her amazing story and in Scottish history in general. Having completed the blue badge course, I am now equally fascinated by and have acquired knowledge of other aspects of Scotland, such as: geology, architecture, wildlife and art. I have spent most of my working life teaching French, German and Spanish, mostly to adults. I love speaking foreign languages and I am passionate about my country.
I am interested and excited about sharing the knowledge I have acquired both from growing up in Scotland and through formal study of the country and its culture. I love meeting people of all nationalities and enjoy helping them to enhance their Scotland experience, by sharing my knowledge of Scotland in any of the languages I speak.
