About Me

Originally from Germany I call Lewis my home since 2010 and can't think of a better place to live!

Let me take you on a tour of this island, either in German or English, and you will understand why this place is so special:

You will see our abundant wildlife (seals, herons, deer and maybe also an eagle or two), hear about the past and present of this island and experience the warm welcome of it's people.

Depending on your own personal interest I will help you to make the most of your visit and work with you on the perfect itinerary for your day.

We could visit the history laden Westside of Lewis with the Neolithic site of the Standing Stones of Callanish, the iron-age remains of Dun Carloway and restored Black houses.

Should you prefer sandy beaches and spectacular seascapes we could travel together down to the South of the island, to Harris.

The discovery of the far North of Lewis, the stronghold of the Gaelic language, would be another of many options...

With more than 10 years of experience in guiding it would be my pleasure to take you on a tour!

I'm also part of the Western Isles Tour Guide Association (www.witga.co.uk) and you can check our website for more information on tours & itineraries.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
