About Me

Welcome to Scotland!

Originally from Italy, I’ve been fortunate to call this beautiful country home for over fifteen years. My journey to Scotland began after earning a Master’s degree in History of Art in Rome, when I was offered a Ph.D. position at the University of Glasgow. Having been an accredited tourist guide in Rome, it felt natural to retrain as a guide here in Scotland, combining my love for art and history with the charm of this incredible country.

Tour guiding is more than just a job for me—it's a passion. I love sharing Scotland's rich culture and history with visitors while continuously learning along the way. I’m energetic, enthusiastic, and love meeting new people. Most importantly, I truly enjoy what I do!

With a deep knowledge of art and its history, along with a strong passion for the art market, my background includes working in museums, exhibitions, and auction houses, which has helped broaden my professional expertise. My areas of interest range from Fine Arts and Architecture, Monastic Architecture, and Industrial Heritage to Cinema, Ballet, Opera, Fashion, and luxury brands.

One of my particular fascinations is with Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the renowned Glasgow-born architect and designer. My time at the Glasgow School of Art sparked my deep appreciation for his work, described by Nikolaus Pevsner as “the European counterpart to Frank Lloyd Wright.” Whether you’re interested in exploring Scotland’s unique Baronial architecture or admiring the cutting-edge design of Dundee’s V&A Museum by Kengo Kuma, I’m happy to create a custom tour that matches your interests.

In addition to guiding, I lecture in the Travel and Tourism departments at City of Glasgow College and Dundee & Angus College. I’m available for walking tours throughout the year, and I would love to show you the best of what Scotland has to offer!

Feel free to check out my Facebook page to see what I’m up to.
