About Me

Have you ever felt the magnetic pull of a place that shapes who you are? For me, that place is Shetland Islands. My journey began in the Fishing Industry where I completed a Four year apprentiship in Marine Craft Engineering. Working with a local firm repairing fishing and oil boats during the heyday of Sullom Voe Oil terminal in the '80s. I developed a deep connection to the sea and it's stories.

In 1998 I took the plunge and moved to Norway, spending 11 transformative years there. While I embraced a new culture, my heart remained in Shetland. It's true--this remarkable archipelago draws you in and forever leaves it's mark.

Now as a certified guide sharing Shetlands rich history, heritage, and its culture. I've had the pleasure of meeting incredible people from around the globe. Each tour is a new opportunity to celebrate the beauty and resilience of our islands.

Join me in exploring the magic of Shetland, where every corner has a story waiting to be told. Together, we can uncover the spirit of these islands and the legacy they hold.
