I retired from my role as superintendent in Police Scotland in 2017, and am now looking to share my passion for this wonderful country with visitors.

I carried out a wide range of roles within the police, and latterly was the national events planning officer, responsible for the planning and safe delivery of events including:

                              Ryder Cup, Gleneagles Hotel, 2014
The Open Championship, St Andrews, 2015
                              The Open Championship, Troon, 2016

I can bring 30 years experience as a manager, a communicator, and a problem solver to ensure that you receive a stress-free, informative and entertaining tour.

Whilst I can tailor a tour to meet your needs, my particular interests are :

Whisky distilling (and tasting!) - I am a Whisky Ambassador, qualified to promote the history, culture and enjoyment of our national drink!
Robert Burns - I perform Tam O'Shanter, Holy Willie's Prayer and other poems at Burns Suppers and events
Religion in Scotland (including the Reformation and Church Architecture)
Golf
Jacobites
Outlander
Mary Queen of Scots
Battlefield Tours
Clan History

I look forward to welcoming you to our wonderful country
