Kath Bateman

Languages:

Brought up on the West Coast of Scotland but now living in Edinburgh. I love living in Scotland and would be truly delighted to help you make the most of your trip here, either by helping to plan your itinerary or by accompanying you as your tour guide.

Prior to qualifying as a Blue Badge guide, I worked for 20 years as a specialist tour operator and tour manager, organising cultural and educational travel in Europe, Latin America and Cuba. Music and dance are particular interests and I am involved in promoting cultural activities in Scotland and abroad. I have also worked in business development, corporate sponsorship and marketing with organisations such as the British Council and Scotland the Brand.

I speak fluent Spanish and English and guide in both languages. I am versatile and sociable and love working with people from all over the world.
