Welcome to my page. I am Kathleen Cameron (Kathy) and a native of Scotland. I currently live in Inveraray Argyll, West Highlands - but have spent some years working in Spain and throughout Europe
I would be happy to meet you anywhere in Scotland to start a tour. Contact me directly by mail or telephone with your requirements with as much detail as possible and I can discuss and help to create your special tour. I have a particular interest in Argyll (one of the most diverse and beautiful areas of Scotland), and The Northern & Western Highlands and Islands. I have also undertaken tours to Orkney and The Hebrides. My interests include art and architecture having trained at Glasgow School of Art; clan and genealogy tours and I am passionate about the wildlife of Scotland.
My current vehicle is a comfortable air-conditioned Hyundai i800 seating up to 7 people with generous luggage space at the rear.
Traditional Scottish music is a big part in my life and I play the fiddle and piano! I have amassed a wealth of information on traditional music of all kinds and many contacts in the music industry. Being a regular attendee at music workshops, feis (festival) and 'Blazing Fiddles' week long workshop in Beauly near Inverness - I usually know where there are concerts, music 'sessions' etc.
I am an ardent traveller - given the time and finance! In recent years I have visited Mexico, Cuba, Spain, Portugal, Morocco. North & South India (Kerala). I try to escape in the winter to Spanish-speaking countries - not only for the sun but to practice my Spanish! With my knowledge of travel and my experience in tour management, I appreciate the importance of attention to detail in tour planning.
