About Me

Now retired from my previous career as a police officer, I am one of those lucky fellows that has made a profession from my hobby. I always was moved by my country’s history, and have been surprised and amazed at learning more of its rich variety, As a proud Scot, my interest in languages have led me to working in German and French, but I can make myself understood in English with a little effort. My guiding philosophy is simple. I am here to help you enjoy your stay in Scotland. I hope you will be entertained as well as informed. I look forward to meeting you.
