I have lived in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis for the last 32years. Originally for a teaching post but I have retired and now am a crofter, tour guide, gardening, self catering host.
My croft is small on the outskirts of Stornoway, I have 6 breeding Hebridean ewes and they lamb around end of April, 4 hens, 2 cats and 2 hives of bees. Crofting is a ways of life and always keeps my busy trying to improve my land.
I enjoy walking and taking in the nature that is all around us. I feel lucky to live in such a unique culture in beautiful surroundings.
