I am a native Gaelic speaking island crofter, who works the land which six generations of my family worked. My interests are archaeology, Hebridean culture and meeting people from other countries. During the winter months I record oral tradition, writing articles, creating publications and podcasts to make our island heritage available to the next generation. Themes for the 2020 winter season is: place names and fishing in Lewis and Harris in the past, present and future.
