Wherever you plan to go in Scotland, let me welcome you and share the love and passion I feel for this amazing country which I am proud to call home. Glasgow is my home town, but I have travelled widely and lived in India, France and Canada. I have over 25 years experience since qualifying as a Scottish Blue Badge tourist guide in 1996. In that time I have been involved with the STGA as a Board and Branch member and also in training, mentoring and I am currently an assessor for the new Tourist Guides in training. I feel privileged to meet and welcome visitors from around the world be it for leisure, corporate, incentive events or special interest tours. From the cities to the Borders, Highlands and Islands, I can tell you Scotland’s stories, interpret the diverse, dramatic scenery, flora and fauna, play the music, and explore the culture and Scotland’s story today. Ancestral homecomings, as well as shopping, eating, entertainment, can all be an important part of the Scottish experience. I am a keen golfer, though sadly not reflected in my handicap! I also enjoy walking, skiing, literature, architecture, theatre and travel. Let me help you get the most out of your visit with a memorable and fun experience.
I am an official volunteer guide at the Burrell Collection in Glasgow

We were so fortunate to have you guide us through Ayrshire, Glasgow and the Highlands You were inspiring and brought Scotland with its Stories, songs and history to life with passion and humour and helped my family to understand what it means to have Scottish heritage. Thank you for being our guide throughout beautiful Scotland. Being our first visit to the land of Art’s maternal ancestors it was indeed a memorable and wonderful experience. Your knowledge and passion for all that is Scottish made this journey so much more vivid and alive. Scotland is indeed fortunate to have you as an ambassador. Francis Goss; Florida
