About Me

A guide for over 20 years, I am mainly Glasgow and West of Scotland based, working with German-speaking visitors. I am also on Orkney for several weeks each summer and enjoy showing the islands off to visitors. I'm a professional historian so that is a slant to my guiding but I love showing all of Scotland off in its many other aspects too. I have been guiding at the Burrell Collection for over 30 years and it is a special delight to take visitors round it. City walks in Glasgow are another interest of mine. My extended tours are limited to about 6 days.
