Originally from Kirkcaldy in the ancient Kingdom of Fife, I am now based in Edinburgh where I first came to gain a degree in Scottish History from the University of Edinburgh. I have a passion for Scotland and its culture and am particularly interested in traditional music and song. At present I help run Balerno Folk Club where I occasionally sing (and play guitar). I am never happier that when driving visitors round the country and experiencing the amazing variety of scenery.
