I am born and bred in Edinburgh but have lived many years in London and in the USA (Miami and San Francisco). After obtaining my degree at Edinburgh University, I became a teacher in both London and Edinburgh. In 2000 I qualified as a Blue Badge Tourist Guide for Scotland and have never looked back. In the winter I travel and spend some months abroad (usually in Greece) where I do my writing, mainly poetry. I have completed ten collections to date and one more is waiting to be edited and published; truly a labour of love. I am both a culture vulture and an outdoors woman, playing a lot of tennis and enjoying regular walks and cycles.
I am an Arts graduate of Edinburgh University and have a Post-Graduate Teaching Diploma. In 2000 I qualified as a Blue Badge Guide for Scotland.
