Hello Everyone, I am an Orcadian born and bred, growing up on the beautiful island of Hoy. I moved to the mainland (Orkney) to attend school, as many islanders did, and have lived in Kirkwall ever since. I have always had a huge interest in the history of my homeland, growing up listening to the stories of my elders. I am married and raised 3 children and have spent many years working for the local authority in education. I know first hand all the Orkney Islands have to offer from history to festivals to food and drink, and I would love to share this with you. I have 5 years experience as a step-on-guide for coach tours for private groups and those arriving on cruise ships. I look forward to meeting you and watching the Orkney I love become the Orkney you love.
