Hello, let me introduce myself. My name is Rita Stephen, I am a Scottish Tourists Guide Association (STGA) qualified Green Badge Guide, covering an area of North East Scotland stretching from Speyside, home to over 50 distilleries, through Aberdeenshire, Aberdeen, Angus, Dundee and the East Neuk of Fife including St Andrews, the home of golf. I have lived in Aberdeen for over 30 years and have a detailed knowledge of the North East.
I deliver scenic group tours throughout Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire for the many visitors who arrive by cruise ship to Aberdeen. I also specialise in walking tours in the city and can adapt tours to suit all levels of mobility and tailored specifically to your particular interests.
Aberdeen is Scotland's third largest city and has been a trading port since the 13th century. During our walking tours, we explore the ancient streets of the city learning its rich history. I also conduct tours of Old Aberdeen, an independent town from Aberdeen between 1489 and 1891, home to the University of Aberdeen, established in 1495, and the historic St Machar's Cathedral dating from the 1100's
I conduct tours in English and Spanish and am an avid student of Scottish history and passionate about the environment. I look forward to sharing the many delights of North East Scotland with you.
