About Me

Hello and welcome to my profile page! I arrived in Scotland 31 years ago to visit a friend and I never left! I have seen Scotland through the eyes of a visitor and now of someone who lives here permanently. Having travelled extensively around the world it is Scotland which still manages to excite me with its spectacular scenery, people, history and culture. I would like to share my love of Scotland with you and take you on a journey either for a couple of hours, a day or two, or an extended tour where you can experience world famous visitor attractions, or the off the beaten track hidden gems.

Reviews

I’ve been to Edinburgh 3 times. But this time I hired Robert and finally really saw and understood the city. Granted, the previous two trips were in my budget conscious youth, but at this point I am convinced this is the only real way to see it especially if you are like me and want to feel like you really got an education about the place you visited. Robert made the tour fun, educational, gave us options depending on walking ability and interest levels, and stopped to show us things I would have never found on my own. Robert is personable, knowledgeable, and just an all around pleasant person. Hire him without reservation and I know you'll be satisfied!

“Our family just returned from a wonderful trip to Scotland, where we toured Edinburgh, the lovely Isle of Skye, the Highlands, and Inverness with our Blue Badge tour guide Robert Keightley.

We enthusiastically recommend Scotland as a travel destination and Robert as a tour guide - he was extremely personable, knowledgeable about the geography and history of Scotland, and accommodating. Five stars all around!"
