Hello from Scotland!!

My name is Simon and I am originally from Galicia in  North West Spain; a region very similar to Scotland. I have lived and worked in Scotland since 2011, traveling widely, and I have fallen in love with this magnificent country.

After a career as tour leader in and around Edinburgh, I moved to the Orkney islands in northern Scotland to work as a guide and whilst there I achieved the STGA Green Badge for the Orkney islands in 2016. I returned to central Scotland in 2018, continuing to operate my company "Escocia Tours" and after two years of studying I achieved the coveted 'Blue Badge' which is the highest guiding qualification in Scotland.

Through my tour company "Escocia Tours" I can plan your trip from start to finish, tailored to meet your needs and interests. I can guide in English, Spanish and Portuguese in the comfort of a spacious Volkswagen Transporter which has air conditioning, an audio system, ample room for luggage and seating for up to 8 guests.

Tours are always planned to suit the needs of the guest and we can stop whenever and wherever you like for photos, coffee or to explore.

Scotland has something for everyone and with my knowledge we can go off the beaten track and explore some of the lesser-known corners of Scotland as well as some of the iconic sites, restaurants and distilleries that Scotland is world famous for!

As well as offering driver guiding for up to 8 guests, I can also offer city tours, walking tours and extended tours for larger groups form on day to several weeks.

I have fallen in love with Scotland's rich history and culture, the castles, the food, the wildlife and the Whisky!! It would be my pleasure to accompany you on a tour around Scotland and show you the very best Scotland has to offer.
