About Me

Guiding is my main and only job for last 10 years. But apart of that I’m a travel writer and in Russia you can find my two guide books about Scotland “ Travel with Dmitry Krylov” (though you will be lucky to find a copy, because it was published in 2009 and completely sold out) and “Red guide. Scotland” published in 2014. You can also have a look at my blog, Scottish non-fairy tales . http://balerno.livejournal.com
My professional passion is “Hidden places of Scotland”. I can show you beautiful natural spots, little attractions, amazing secret restaurants and unusual activities. I don’t think that my tourists have to know every date of old king’s lives, amount of stones in castles and remember every architect’s name. I believe that the real test of Scotland live off the bitten truck. Come and see the real country with real people with their picturesque stories. I also a great fun of folk music and old music instruments, so if you look for music events, - come to me.
I drive my own people carrier, Seat Alhambra (7-seater) professionally equipped with goose neck microphone, two conditioners and inbuilt children seats for young clients.
