Born in London, my first job was as a professional cellist in the Liege Philharmonic Orchestra in Belgium, where French and Flemish were the working languages. I This wakened my interest in travelling and tourism. I met my husband, a Scot, in 1991, in Belgium, visited Scotland and fell in love with the country. I now live on the West Coast of Scotland and enjoy sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm for Scotland with visitors from all over the world.
Je suis née ā Londres, et mon premier travail etait comme violoncelliste ă L’Orchestre Philharmoique de Liège en Belgique, ou’ j’ai parlé le français et le flamand tous les jours.
Et grace a’ ça je suis devenue très interesse’ par les voyages ainsi que le tourisme. En 1991, j’ai rencontre’ mon mari, un Ecossais, en Belgique, et en 1992, j’ai visite’ L’Ecosse pour la première fois, et je suis tombee’ amoureuse du pays. Maintenant, j’habite sur la côte l’ouest et j’aime beaucoup partager ma connaissance et mon enthousiasme pour L’Ecosse avec des visiteurs de partout dans le monde entier.
Geboren in London, mijn eerste job was als celliste in het Koninklijk Philharmonisch Orkest van Luik (OPRL) in België waar frans en nederlands worden gesproken. De orkest musici waren en zijn nog altijd van verschillende nationaliteiten.en dat heeft mijn interesse in reizen en toerisme aangewakkerd. In 1991 in België ontmoette ik mijn Schotse echtgenoot en heb ik Schotland voor het eerst bezocht in 1992, een land waarop ik onmiddelijk verliefd werd. Nu woon ik aan de westkust van Schotland en deel mijn kennis en enthousiasme mee met reizigers van rond de wereld. After a career change in 2003, I moved to Scotland, where I gained an HNC Tourism with merit. I worked for Visit Scotland, as a Visitor Services Adviser at Loch Lomond and Glasgow Visitor Information Centres. I also have a Welcome Host Certificate and a National Trust certificate in Customer care. I worked as a Seasonal Countryside Ranger at Finlaystone Country Estate, and as a volunteer guide at the Burrell Collection and Pollok House in Glasgow. In 2006, I studied to be a Blue Badge Guide, qualifying in 2008 in English, French , Flemish and Dutch. This enables me to take tours throughout Scotland. I would be delighted to be your guide! J’ai changé de carrière en 2003, et j’ai demenagé en Ecosse, ou’ j’ai obtenu un diplôme de tourisme avec merite. J’ai travaille’ pour Visit Scotland comme Visitor Services Adviser ã Loch Lomond et ã Glasgow Centres d’Infomation. J’ai aussi un Welcome Host certificate et le National Trust Certificate in Customer Care. J’ai travaille’ comme Seasonal Countryside Ranger a’ Finlaystone Country Estate et aussi comme guide volontaire au Burrell Collection et Pollok House a Glasgow. Na een carrière verandering in 2003, verhuisde ik naar Schotland waar ik een diploma HNC Toerisme met onderscheiding behaalde. I werkte als Visitor Services Advisor voor Visit Scotland in de Loch Lomond en Glasgow Informatie Centers. Ik heb ook een certifikaat als Welcome Host en een National Trust Custumer Care certifikaat. Als seizoen Country Ranger heb ik gewerkt in de Finlaystone Country Estate en ook als vrijwillige gids in de Burrell Kollectie en Pollock House in Glasgow. In 2006 studeerde ik om een Blue Badge Gids te worden en behaalde het diploma in 2008 in engels, frans en nederlands. Dat stelt mij in staat om reisgroepen te begeleiden doorheen Schotland. Ik wil graag uw gids zijn!
