About Me

HELLO, and a warm WELCOME to Orkney!

I am pleased and proud to be able to tell you about my home, the Orkney Islands. My name is Tina Smith and I am an accredited GREEN BADGE GUIDE, affiliated to the Scottish Tourist Guides Association.
My Orcadian family and I have lived in these beautiful islands for countless generations and my aim whilst showing you around is to ensure that you enjoy these special surroundings as much as I do.
A holiday in Orkney offers much to see and do such as walking, fishing and bird-watching. But top of the ‘must do list’ must surely be visits to the many astounding historical sites which illustrate Orkney’s rich past.
I’m sure you want to make the most of your time here, so let me make your stay even better, by providing advice and guidance on what to see and experience. With my in-depth knowledge and my enthusiastic and
informative commentaries, I can help plan and design a memorable holiday tour that suits your budget and timescale. You can book me for half or whole day trips, including:-
• coach and car tours - around the scenic Mainland of Orkney

• walking tours - spectacular coasts and the historical towns of Kirkwall and Stromness

• golf caddying
